The Institute of Neo-Latin Studies was established in Lviv in 1995 by Myroslav and Oleksandra Trofymuk as part of their studies on the development of Neo-Latin Studies in Ukraine. Officially it existed until 2004.

The poster was created for our internal partner brand. Scientific independent institution of the Institute of Neo-Latin Studies, or the Trofymuk Institute. This poster was needed for the presentation of the chronology of all editions implemented by the Institutes during the last 30 years. A huge A0 print was displayed at the IANLS Congress of Neo-Latin Studies in Vienna in 2015. The Institute of Neo-Latin Studies was founded by Myroslav and Oleksandra Trofymuk in 1993 as an institution for the study of Ukrainian Neo-Latin heritage, in particular works written in Latin, but automatically considered part of Ukrainian literature of that culture.
The main projects of the institute were the promotion of the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk and the creation of the Latin-Ukrainian dictionary. The two main tools necessary for Ukraine, as basic for realizing, on the one hand, the Ukrainian component of identity, and on the other - integration into the world context. The institute was also engaged in translation from Latin and publication of Latin-language literary works of Pylyp Orlyk and the creation of analytical works that narrate the history and trends of development and ideas of the Latin-language heritage of Ukraine. The poster and participation in the IANLS Congress were important final steps of the Institute's activity and were carried out at the grassroots level, without the support of state institutions. The poster reveals the types of published printed works - reference literature, dissertations, a dictionary, art catalogs and reprints of the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk
