City and Art on the Border

A series of 10 films shot by our company under the supervision of Lviv researcher Bohdan Shumylovych, and directed by Olga Povoroznyk. Our team was engaged in the actual camera work for films. The peculiarity of the filming was in a certain improvised process. Since it was a bit difficult to schedule meetings with the artists in advance, we often adjusted to the artists' schedules and dealt with the locations on the spot accordingly. The essence of the films is to reveal artistic Lviv through the prism of a separate group of Lviv non-conformist artists who present Lviv's underground art space. In fact, the conversations were about places, not so much about the art of individual artists, but about which places created a special atmosphere for their work. Filming was conducted by two operators with field recording of dialogues. We spoke with Olena Turyanska, Andriy Sagaydakovskyi, George Kosovan, Serhiy Yakunin, Vlodko Kostyrko, Vlodko Kaufman, Antonina Denysiuk, Mykhailo Frantsuzov, Andriy Boyarov, Ihor Podolchak, Evgeny Ravskyi during the screening of the film.
