The Katowice city of music office organized a multi-layered project, which consisted in the creation of parallel murals in Katowice and Lviv. In Katowice, the project was created by Kopanyshyn. studio, in Lviv, the mural was painted by artists Vitaliy and Serhiy Grekhy, dilk & feros, who work on the border between fine art and graffiti, but go far beyond the usual boundaries of understanding this genre.
Challenge
Our studio was involved in several aspects of this project - this is the creation of a site specific installation of Mirrors and an audio-visual installation using audio material from an interview with Stanislav Lem. In the end, we created a video-documentation video for the project, which covers the entire process of the implementation of the mural during almost a month of its creation by the artists. For filming, we used action cameras that were placed on the perimeter during each shot, additionally, the main strokes were enhanced by shooting on a Sony 6300 and the scale was depicted using drone footage. The post-production of the video is an improvisational mixing of images, using the deformation of frames and author's techniques.
